Nigeria’s Coronavirus cases nears the 50,000 mark as 410 fresh infections we’re recorded on Tuesday, according to the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC).
NCDC disclosed in its daily update via its Twitter account that Nigeria’s confirmed cases of coronavirus presently stands at 49,895.
Lagos recorded 210 of the 410 cases, followed by FCT with 45, Ondo with 30 and Plateau 21.
The rest are: “Edo-19, Ogun-16, Oyo-13, Nasarawa-12, Bauchi-11, Enugu-10, Kwara-7, Kaduna-6, Anambra-4, Ebonyi-3, Abia-2, Rivers-1”
While 37,051 infected persons have recovered and discharged.
However, the infection has claimed 981 lives.
