Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has explained the reason Uruguayan Striker Edinson Cavani was absent from the squad that defeated Newcastle on Saturday.
On Cavani, Ole said “He’s still not ready,”
He added that “He got a little knock in training, so hopefully won’t be too long.”
The Reds defeated the Magpies by 4-1 at Old Trafford on Ronaldo’s second debut.
The Portuguese bagged a brace, while fellow countryman, Bruno Fernandes and English winger, Jesse Lingard completed the scores.
Newcastle’s lone goal came from Javier Manquillo.
