Below are the pictures of some of the pieces of jewellery and a customized gold iPhone, worth $40m which belongs to the former Minister of Petroleum Resources, Diezani Alison-Madueke.

At the Federal High Court sitting in Lagos, Justice Nicholas Oweibo had on Friday ordered the former minister to forfeit the items to the federal government.

The court order followed an ex parte application filed by led the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, (EFCC), led by Ibrahim Magu.

The pieces of jewellery were recovered by the EFCC in homes proven to belong to Mrs Alison-Madueke who fled Nigeria after the 2015 elections as the EFCC moved to put her on trial for alleged corruption.

In the application filed before Justice Oweibo, the EFCC said the expensive items which include; wristwatches, necklaces, bracelets, bangles, earrings among others, were evidently suspected to have been acquired with proceeds of unlawful activities of the former minister who is currently a fugitive in London.
