Tinubu’s campaign document, council unveiling on Friday

President Muhammadu Buhari will on Friday unveil the All Progressives Congress (APC) manifesto and Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s policy document.

The party’s Presidential Campaign Council (PCC) will also be presented to the public at the Banquet Hall, Presidential Villa, Abuja.

President Buhari, who is the chairman of the council, has said he will personally lead the APC campaign and deliver the votes to ensure victory for Tinubu and his running mate, Kashim Shettima.

A two-hour meeting was held at the APC national secretariat in Abuja to fine-tune the Council’s harmonized list yesterday.

In attendance at the meeting were: the National Chairman, Abdullahi Adamu; National Secretary, Otunba Iyiola Omisore; Director-General of the PCC and Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong; Deputy Director- General (Operations), Adams Oshiomhole and Secretary, James Faleke.

An anonymous source said: “The PCC leadership came to formally dot the ‘is’ and cross the ‘ts’ with the party leadership in preparation for the formal unveiling of the PCC on Friday.

“The meeting also allowed the two principal organs of the party to look into the nationwide campaign plan.

“It was agreed that the chairman (Adamu) will brief the National Working Committee (NWC) at its weekly meeting tomorrow (today) on the list and the campaign itinerary.

“It was also agreed that the national chairman, secretary, and the leadership of the PCC will present the same to the President for his blessing tomorrow (today) at the Villa.”
