NDLEA gets new Lagos commander

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) has deployed a new commander to Lagos State as part of its national efforts to eradicate drug and other illegal substances abuse.

The new commander, Calys Alumona, a lawyer, was before his posting in charge of the agency’s Ondo State Command.

Taking over the saddle from his predecessor, Ralph Igwenagu on Wednesday at Ikoyi, Alumona, according to a statement by the agency’s spokesman in Lagos, Mallum Musa, urged his management team and members of staff to double their efforts so as to record more breakthroughs.

Igwenagu, who has been posted to the Bayelsa State Command as Commander, said he enjoyed a good working relationship with other security agencies, Lagos State Government and members of his staff during his tour of duty.
