Lagos State Ministry of Wealth Creation and Employment, has declared that it has trained over 2,200 unemployed youths through its mindset reorientation virtual workshop since COVID-19.
According to the ministry, participants have better chances of securing lucrative jobs after the workshop.
Speaking on the reason behind the training, Commissioner for Wealth Creation and Employment, Mrs. Yetunde Arobieke, who spoke after the second edition, said the ministry intends to reduce unemployment.
Although it was targeted at unemployed youths, those engaged could also benefit from it, she added.
