Teenage tennis sensation, Coco Gauff has been forced out of Wimbledon today after losing to a former world number one, Simona Halep, while suffering from stomach cramps.
Gauff’s astonishing Grand Slam debut has therefore come to an end with the defeat suffered in the hands of Halep.
The promising tennis player lost to Halep on Court 1 in two sets, both 6-3, as her mother Candi and father Corey Gauff watched on from the stands.
Gauff’s swiftly rose to global fame when she trounced her idol and tennis icon, Venus Williams during the tournament and has subsequently attracted an army of powerful followers and fans including Mrs. Michelle Obama, wife of former US President, Barack Obama.
