Buhari lands Abuja from 76th UNGA in New York

President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived in Abuja after a week in New York, the United States of America (U.S.A), for the 76th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA).

President Buhari who was received at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport at 5:20 a.m on Sunday, immediately left for the Presidential Villa in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

While in New York, President Buhari engaged in a number of diplomatic and trade meetings with other leaders from different parts of the world.

In his address during the UNGA session on September 24, the President called the attention of the world to some issues such as equitable distribution of vaccines, debt cancellation for poor nations amid the pandemic, coups in West Africa among others affecting the world.
