A Polish village Miejsce Odrzanskie has become the unlikely source of international media attention for having its first male baby in a decade.
The mayor of the village revealed this in an article, adding that the village has become an area of ‘scientific interest’ from genetics for its population anomaly.
Miejsce Odrzanskie is very small village of just 272 people with a birth rate of not much more than one per year, that means that this run of 12 girls is extended over almost a decade.
