My father was a cop, I’d always support police – Dr Olukoya

The General Overseer, Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries, Dr Daniel Olukoya, has pledged his continuous support the police in their efforts to secure lives and property.

The clergyman disclosed that he grew up in the barracks and that his father was a policeman.

Speaking on Thursday at the inauguration of the Police Community Relations Committee, Prayer City Unit, the cleric noted that he would continue to support the police and other security agencies in whatever capacity required of him.

“I have no option but to support the police. My father was a policeman and I lived in the barracks,” he said.

He, however, described God as man’s greatest security, no matter what mechanisms and means people initiated to secure themselves and society.

Olukoya and his wife, Folashade, were decorated with the award of Grand Patron of the MFM Prayer City Unit of the PCRC.
