The picture of a traffic-camera stand situated somewhere around Alausa, the city of power of the Lagos State government has got many Lagosians talking.

Seeing the unusual traffic device on the street, many Lagosians, especially those on WhatsApp messaging platform have started sharing the image with a warning to their friends and families that the ‘Sanwo-Olu-led administration had introduced a traffic-camera in Lagos State’ in fulfillment of his electoral promise to go all out against traffic offenders.

They then warned that people must obey traffic laws to avoid being caught by traffic cameras.

It is reported that there will more of it in strategic locations in the state, and violators will subsequently be penalised for violations of traffic rules through the evidences from the cameras.
