The Osile of Oke Ona Egbaland, in Ogun State, Oba Adedapo Tejuoso professing his love for his Christian faith has stated his desire to remain a Christian till his death.
The 81-years old monarch told PUNCH in an interview that he wishes to die a Christian in a bid to inherit the eternal life promised by the faith.
Speaking on why he takes off crown, leaving his hair bare in the public in defiance of rituals Oba Tejuoso said that old things passed away because of his new belief in God.
His words, “We were all born sinners – we were dead in sin when we were born into the world. If you are dead in sin, you are no use to God. But because God so love the world he gave us his only begotten son, that whosoever believes in him will not perish but have everlasting life. When you believe in God, all things have become new and old things have passed away.
