North-West APC backs Tinubu for 2027, unveils ‘campaign of facts’ strategy

The North-West Zone of the All Progressives Congress (APC) has pledged to deliver a strong electoral showing for President Bola Tinubu and other party candidates in the 2027 general elections.

The resolution was contained in a communiqué issued after the zone’s maiden meeting held at its Zonal Secretariat in Kaduna, following the APC Zonal Congress of March 25.

The meeting was chaired by the National Vice Chairman (North-West), Garba Datti Muhammad, with discussions focused on strategies to maintain the region’s position as a major voting bloc for the party.

According to the communiqué, the zone resolved to work closely with key stakeholders to secure victories for Tinubu, APC governors in the region, and candidates contesting National and State Assembly seats.

As part of its political strategy, the zonal leadership adopted a “campaign of facts” approach aimed at promoting the achievements of the Tinubu administration under its Renewed Hope Agenda.

The strategy, the communiqué noted, will highlight progress in sectors such as infrastructure, education, healthcare, and security, including projects undertaken by the North West Development Commission.

The zone also committed to strengthening internal unity within the party, sustaining peace, and addressing emerging challenges ahead of the elections.

In addition, members expressed readiness to counter misinformation from opposition parties, which they said could undermine the APC’s image as preparations for the 2027 polls intensify.
