Residents in all parts of Lagos State will enjoy a 25 per cent rebate on fares for government-owned transport schemes.
Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced this during a live media chat, ‘Sanwo Speaks’, to intimate residents on steps being taken to reduce the economic burden on Lagosians.
Sanwo-Olu also stated that civil servants will begin to work just three days a week to reduce the economic hardships.
He said workers in the teaching sector will however maintain the five-day-a-week work schedule but the government will ensure additional transport support for them.
