COVID-19: HoS wants Lagos civil servants to resume work twice monthly

Lagos State Head of Service Hakeem Muri-Okunola has directed ministries, departments and agencies (MDAs) to draw up duty roasters capable of curtailing the spread of COVID-19.

Muri-Okunola expressed concern over the increase in positive cases of Coronavirus among the civil servants.

According to him, no worker should report to the office more than two days in a month.

The HoS urged workers to be responsible, responsive and safe.

According to him, the directive was without prejudice to existing directives and only reinforces same which are in effect.

Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu had earlier directed civil servants from Grade Level 14 and below to continue working from home.
