The reigning Track & Field superstar in Africa, Tobi Amusan has set a new World record in the women’s 100m hurdles.
She smashed the world record not once but twice in the process to win gold in the women’s 100 meters hurdle.
She finished the race in 12.062s beating her record in the semi-finals.
Recall that she had already destroyed the world record in the semi-finals, having run 12.12s.
She became the first Nigerian athlete in history to ever set a World Record in any international event
Ese Brume also won a silver medal in the long jump silver.
