Gordon has expressed his readiness to confront David Cameron in a US-style live TV debate before the general election, it was revealed yesterday.
It would be the first head-to-head of its kind between political party leaders in Britain. This development has inspired interest from Black and Minority Ethnic groups in the UK, that are mostly supporters of Gordon Brown's Labour party, especially on Labour's relatively lenient immigration policies compared to that of David Cameron's led Conservative party.
Business Secretary Lord Mandelson said in an interview: "I don't think Gordon would have a problem with that. While Cameron is good with words, he doesn't have the ideas or policies to back them. I think people would see through the smile".
David Cameron on his part has urged Gordon Brown to clear up confusion over the debate saying: "Five months ago, when I challenged you at Prime Minister's Questions to a televised studio, you refused".
It is hoped that the debate would create a strategic platform for Labour party to reclaim its image that has experienced downward spiral in recent times and again show the party's commitment to change in the sight of the British public in a real way.

Fantastic! An avenue to seperate the boys from the men and the rouble rousers from the real leaders. It's time for them to prove their genuine intentions to the electorate; than all those accusations and counter accusations in the Commons that never had any meaningful impact on the shrinking economy of Britain.
