The governorship candidate of the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) in Ogun State, Adekunle Akinlade, has kicked off his ward campaign ahead of March 2 election.
He declared voters are ready to reclaim the mandate “stolen from him” while in the All Progressives Congress (APC).
Akinlade’s campaign train began the grassroots rally in Imeko-Afon, the Local Government Area and one of the strongholds of the African Democratic Party (ADC) governorship candidate, Gboyega Nasiru Isiaka.
Akinlade promised to provide cassava processing facilities to the rural communities to ensure young men and women are gainfully employed.
He said the rousing welcome accorded his campaign train shows the rural dwellers’ “genuine consciousness to actualize and uphold that mandate of October 2, 2018.
